Marian Moriarty

Marian Moriarty is a founding partner of Inner Business.
Marian works as facilitative consultant, trainer and coach in the fields of creativity, innovation and change management.
Marian is a strong believer in the principle that you should ‘follow your bliss’. And she does. This belief was a prime motivation in setting up Inner Business.
Marian enjoys meeting new people and tackling new challenges. Inner Business operates internationally which presents her with many opportunities to do both.
Academically, Marian has an Honours Degree in Geography, post-graduate qualifications in Education and Export Marketing and a is Master Practitioner of NLP.

History
After graduation Marian obtained her teaching certificate and worked as a secondary school teacher for four years.
A change in direction sent her on to post graduate studies in Export Marketing.
Marian spent eight years working for 3M in marketing management, having responsibilities for technical and consumer product areas. During her time at 3M Marian began to understand the value and importance of creativity and innovation in business. She also began to understand fully how indispensable good people centred process is in all aspects of management and teamwork.

Her desire to focus on people centred process lead her to move from 3M into the world of consultancy.

Marian joined an international consultancy where she worked for seven years as a senior consultant. Marian focussed on facilitation and coaching helping clients make progress on significant business issues both as a consultant and as a trainer.

Marian continued to pursue her interest in people process obtaining Practitioner and Master-Practitioner qualifications in NLP.

In 1995 Marian’s desire to create a business whose focus was entirely on people and on how to help them achieve success in all aspects of their lives motivated her to found Inner Business with her partner Dave Smith.
